【Abstract】 From May. 1993 to June. 1996, MR stereotachc wereperformed in 30 patients suffering from intractable pain syn-drim due to mahgnant diseases. The traumatic target wereone side rostral mesencephlotomy, another side centmeredi-an thalamotomy and bilateral amygdala. The results of the op-eration were satisfactory, not only relief pain, but also improreemotion .
