【Abstract】 Fire-resistance test with Alnus tinctoria forest belt in larch plantations shows that Alnus tinctoria is a fast growing and fire-resistance species, and its shade density after 5 ̄ 6years growing is more than 0. 9. The combustibles are less in the belt than in broadleaved forest, being 0. 8 kg·m-3. It is quite safety during fire risk period of Spring and Autumn, and has a significant natural fire-resistance effect.
