【Abstract】 Yearly output of utban solid waste in China is as high as over 500 million tons.Its organic contents is relatively high. If all burnt for power generation, its energy potentiality is 1.2×1012 degrees,two times as the total power generation of 6.2×1011 degrees in 1990 in China. On the basis of the energy it contaius,It is estimated that its energy potentiality is 2.72×1015 KJ,equivalent to 93 million tons of standard coal.
