【Abstract】 At 0, 1, 4, 8, 16 h after intraperitoneal injection of trihexyphenidyl (3.0 mg·kg -1 ), the contents of monoamines (norepinephrine, dopamine, serotonin and 5 hydroxyindole 3 acetic acid) were determined in rat cerebral cortex, brain stem, diencephalon and hippocampus. The contents of these monoamines were increased, which reached the maximum at 4 h. All of them reduced and approached to the control values at 16 h. These results suggest that trihexyphenidyl may promote the metabolism of rat brain monoamines.更多还原
