【Abstract】 Based on a study tour and combined with the key broadband network technologies and services and implementation strategies, this paper gives a comprehensive introduction to the development background of the broadband trial network sited in Kansai of Japan, the progress of its integrated communications and TV broadcasting application experiments, and B-ISDN commercialization trial, and the role of NTT.
