与偏振无关光隔离器的插入损耗和隔离度的理论分析与实验研究
Study of Isolation and Insertion Loss of Polarization-Independent Optical Isolator
【摘要】 在理论上用琼斯矩阵法得到了与偏振无关的Walk-off型光隔离器的插入损耗及反向隔离度的表达式,讨论了偏振分束器、法拉第旋转器、1/2波片的参数对其性能的影响。作者设计制作的光隔离器光纤到光纤的插入损耗为1.46dB,隔离度为34.2dB,外型尺寸为13×10×46mm3。
【Abstract】 The fomula of insertion loss and isolation of polar izati on - indePendent walk - off optical isolator are presented theoretically by Jones Matrix in this paper. The influcences of polarization beam-splitter , Faraday rotator and half-wave plate on insertion loss and isolation are discussed. The experiments of the optica1 isolator developed by the authors show that the fiber to fiber insertion loss was 1. 46 dB and isolation was 34 dB and with size of 13 ×10 ×46 mm3.
