【Abstract】 The on-line monitoring and diagnosing system of hot rolling millplant marks the starting-point of establishing the new system of the equipmentmaintenance in Bac Steel. With the combination of the off-line and on-line diagnosing systems and the function of EXPLORE-EX expert system brought into fullplay,the conditions of the equipment may be predicted in time so that the predictivemaintenance will be realized.
