低泵浦能X射线激光实验观测
EXPERIMENTAL OBSERVATION ON X-RAY LASERS WITH LOWER PUMPED LASER ENERGY
【摘要】 采用减小焦线宽度,以使低能泵浦功率密度达到适当值的方法,在“星光”装置上开展了碰撞激发机制X射线激光实验。在泵浦能量约130~180J,焦线宽约80μm,靶面功率密度约10TW/cm ̄2条件下,观察到了类Ne锗23.2nm,23.6nm,28.6nm三条激光线。对有可能实现单色X射线激光的元素Zn,仅观察到类Ne锌26.2nm,26.7nm两条激光线。
【Abstract】 AbstractAuthors report experimental study on collisionally excited X-ray laser in“Xing Guang”facility.For the lower pumped laser energy of“Xing Guang”,a new line focus system isadopted,which is consisted of an aspherical lens and a off-axis spherical mirror,which canattain a narrower line focus, and can make the power density up to a proper value.In experi-ment, we use two flat crystal spectrograph to record emissing X-ray.The pin-hole camera andtwo-slit cddmera were used to observe the width and uniformity of line focus.A flat-fieldgrazing incidence grating spectrograph is positioned along the axis of line focus, which permittedobservation 4~30nm spectral region.The drive laser energy is about 130~180J with a wave-length 1.053μm and a pulse duration of about 800ps(FWHM).The line focus has a width ofabout 80μm and a length 25mm, giving a power density on target of about 10TW/cm ̄2. The tar-gets are 18mm long germanium slabs and 20mm long znic slabs.With the flat-field gratingspectrograph,we observed the Ne-like germanium 23.2nm,23.6nm and 28.6nm laser transitionlines,the 23.2nm, 23.6nm line is stronger,which both deflected from the target surface about10mrad and with divergece less l9mrad,the 28.6nm is weaker, which deflected about 12mradand with divergence less 13mrad.We also observe the Ne-like znic 26.2nm, 26.7nm lasertransition line, which deflected about 4mrad and with divergence less 10mrad.
