【Abstract】 Zaoxian A was developed with an early-matureing F2 plant of the cross between O. longis-taminata from Africa and O.rufpogen from Liuzhou,Guangxi,China crossed to Zhenshan 97(maintainer).It is an early-maturing indica CMS line with its early maturity controlled by an incomplete dominance gene.Because its genetic behavior is simple in early maturity, it is easy to utilize and transfer its early maturitygene to other breeding materials through hybridization and develop various types of early-maturing CMSlines,which may overcome the contradiction between the earty maturity and high-yielding ability in F1 hy-brids.更多还原
