【Abstract】 The author reviews the status quo of treatment of senile.dementia by TCM, including the terminology, mechanism and cause of disease, syndrome differentiation, formula and herbs, and analyses the advantage.and disavantage of TCM treatment. In order to further study the disease, the article put forward following suggestions:1) to put emphasis on prodrome, 2) to establish and popularize the evaluation standard of diagnosis and therapeutic effect, 3) to underscore the observation of longterm therapeutic effect, 4 ) to enhance the combining research of the clinic and the experiment.更多还原
