【Abstract】 This paper explains tile presentation model for multimedia objects,which is one of the special issues in the multimedia database management systems. After discussing the characterishes of multimedia data,this paper analyzes the existing mulhmedia data models, and proposes a method of multimedia data modeling and a schema architecture of mulhmedia databases. And then this paper explains the problom of spatio-temporal composition of multimedia objects.
