一种新型光波导调制器的理论研究
A New Type of Optical Waveguide Modulator
【摘要】 目前,共面微带结构的LiNbO3光波导调制器的研究已渐趋成熟。本文考虑利用鳍线结构实现微波对光波的行波调制。通过对LiNbO3晶片为基底的鳍线结构的各参量的分析计算表明这种结构是可行的并可能实现在更高频率上的调制。
【Abstract】 At present, the study on LiNbO3 optical waveguide modulator with coplannar microstrip configuration is becoming more and more sophisticated. In this paper, the configuration of the fin line is used to realize the traveling wave modulation of microwave to optical wave. The parameters analysis and calculation of the fin line on substrate of LiNbO3 crystal show that this configuration is feasible and can be used to realize the modulation of higher frequencies.
