【Abstract】 Abrasion law of nonmetallic coating were summarized. Conditions and effects for applica-tion of the coating were compared with those of materials imported from abroad. It was shown that the nonmetallic coating, as a comprehensive technique for control of sediment abrasion, is a key measure to protect the turbine or pump components which touch with flowing water.
