【Abstract】 This paper deals with the measurement and analysis on the loss of twine strength in pair trawls used for 441 kw trawlers of Qingdao Fishing Company. The mean residual strength of abandoned twines equals half of the initial twine strength and the lowest measured value is lower than 40%. While the initial twine strength is chosen at twice as large as the predeterminate residual strength at abandon, the average depreciation charge per day will be minimum.更多还原
