【Abstract】 In the upper part of Wangquankou Group. Jixian System, Helan Mountain, Ningxia and the Hongzaoshan Formation, Quanji Group, the Northern Margin of Qaidam Basin, Qinghai Province, a lot of tubular fossils were discoved in the filling materials be- tween stromatolite columns. They are consideted as burrows of some kind of small drilling-organisms. According, metazoa are supposed to appear before 1000Ma. This is of great importance to the study on the origin and early stage evolution of metazoan, and may offer potential help to regional strata division and correlation.
