【Abstract】 The paper concerns the characteristics of seed shedding behaviour of arbor in detail by using the method of mathematical physics. Some new concepts about the behaviour,including the width,area, space and regeneration gradient of seed shedding, seedling critical height,seed-moving critical velocity and so on,have been put forward for the first time. A lot of mathematical models about the behaviour and the regeneration have built up. Thus the quantification of cutting block indeces will be possible.
