【Abstract】 In this paper, the relationship between the curvature and the load after initial buckling of a strut is built up by using ideal elastic - plastic model. Then the large elastic - plastic deflectoin of the strut is determined and its load-carrying capacity due to the development of the plastic region is analysed by using perturbation method.更多还原
