YAG晶体的γ射线辐照与退火效应

【摘要】 本文通过观测石榴石晶体的色心吸收光谱,得到了γ射线辐照、氧化和还原气氛下的退火处理与色心形成的关系,以及着色晶体色心吸收带的变化规律,还分析了石墨电阻对热和感应加热提拉法生长的Nd:YAG和YAG晶体中不同色心间的相互联系,从而提出了YAG晶体中低价阳离子和阴离子空位相邻接,使色心吸收峰红移的观点。

【Abstract】 In this paper the absorption spectra of colored YAG crystalsirradiated by 60Co γ-ray and then annealed in oxidation or reduction atmos-phere are observed, we found that the densities of various color centers inthe crystals were changed regularly. From these phenomena the mechanismsof the color center formations in YAG crystals were suggested. An idea thatthe metal ions in low valences adjacenting to anion vacansies make the absor-ption peaks of the color centers in YAG crystals move to the longer wave-length is proposed.
