【Abstract】 High manganese steel casting is liable to burn-on, and its surface quality is poor. The magnesite-bear- ing water-base thixotropic coating we developed is similar to that of Holcote 110 type in properties, which was pre. pared by Foseco Company of Britain. With this kind of coating in casting production, the burnt-on sand defect of casting is eliminated, the surface roughness is as low as GB(Ra)=12.5μm, and the reject rate is reduced.更多还原
