【Abstract】 Blood glucose levels in rabbits were raised and lowered by injections of alloxan and insulin. The relationship between blood glucose and α-lip-oprotein or β-lipoprotein were thus examined. The results showed that blood glucose is positively correlated to β-lipoprotein and negatively correlated to α-lipoprotein, and that there exists a definite relation between diabetes melli’tus and atherosclerosis.
