【Abstract】 Activity of α-1.4-glucosidase in seminal plasma from 105 fertile men was studied. The mean value of semen glucosidase activity was 42.7+21.0 mIU/ml, 136.5±83.4 mIU/total and the specific activity was 874.3±4-633.6 mIU/g protien ((?)±SD). There was significant positive correlation between the activity of enzyme (mIU/ml) and the number of spermatozoa (p<0.01). For subjects≤30 years of age, the mean value of glucostdase activity (mIU/ml) was higher than that for>30 years group (p<0.05).The physiological role of the enzyme in seminal plasma and the significance of measurement of the enzyme activity in clinical investigation are discussed briefly.更多还原
