进程通信机构在UNIX V7中的实现
IMPLEMENTATION OF SOCKET IPC IN UNIX V7
【摘要】 对于操作系统来说,进程间通信(IPC)是它必不可少的功能。本文首先分析了UNIX V7中现有的IPC功能,指出了其不足之处,作为实现IPC的一种尝试,我们在UNIX第七版内核中实现了基于Socket的进程通信机构SIPC(SocketIPC),SIPC完全克服了原UNIX V7中进程通信机构的局限性。
【Abstract】 Interprocess Communication (IPC) is an essential function for an operating system. This paper analyses the existing IPC implementation of mechanism in UNIX V7,and points out its weaknesses.Then afionet an IPC mechanism based on sockets is intruduced The newly obtained IPC mechanism—SIPC(Socket IPC)completely overcomes the limitations of the original one in UNIX V7.
