【Abstract】 Cutting the top of bamboo(Phyllostachys pubescens) was one of the technical method of bamboo management, which could reduce the damage of wind and snow, increase the by-product, but it could cause reduction of output of bamboo if rational whorls or bamboo density were not keeped, hower, high and stable yield couId obtaine if rational leaf area index were keeped. After cutting the top of bamboo, the strength of culm declined but the quality and the value of culm increased.更多还原
