【Abstract】 The flqral apex of Rosa polyantha Hort. first differentiates a terminal flower and successively two lateral flowers differentiate at the both sides of the floral axis. Its inflorescence is a cymose type panicle to be composed of a apical cyme and many lateral cymes. The developmental process of the terminal flower experience about thirty days and sixteen period are divided into on the whole. The developmental process of the stame is from fourth stage, the stame primodia formation stage, and to thirteenth stage, the part dikaryon pollen formation in the anther. The development of the pistil begin at fifth stage, the pistil primodia forma-tion stage, and end at sixteenth stage, that is the point stage of flower-ing, the embryo sac has became 8 nucleus-7 cells embryo sac. The development type of embryo sac conform to the monospo re-8 nucellar type. When perianth first opens, the embryc sac begins double fertiliza-tion. When perianth bloom, the double fertilization has finished.
