【Abstract】 The results of pot experiments showed an active effect of PSB mixture applied to paddy soil on the increasing of soil microbe population including azotobacter,PSB,actinomycetes,and fungi. The content of NH4+-N was also increased in the soil. In the pots treated with PSB mixture, (NH4)2SO4, and PSB mixture plus (NH4)2SO4, the rice plants gave higher grain yields of 8.85%, 34.63% and 36.64% respectively as compared with the check. The results of the field experiments showed the same tendency. Thus, it could be concluded that there is a beneficial effect of PSB mixture application on soil nutrition and plant growth. However, the antagonism between PSB and plant pathogens, and the effect of pure culture of PSB are remaining for further study.更多还原
