【Abstract】 This paper reports the results on the observation and analysis of the morpho-logy, chromosome and isozyme of Paragonimus westermam recovered from Chongan County, Fujian Province. According to the size and morphology of cysts, adults nd eggs, there are both large and small strains of P .westermam as described by He Yi-xun (1981) in the endimic area. Most of them belonged to the small strain of P.westermani and their chromosome number is only 2n=22. In the large strain it is not only 2n=22 but also 3n=33, however, the morphology and size of their adult worm have no obvious difference except for their seminal receptacles. Though there were seminal receptacles filled with spermazoa in the diploid-type adult worm from both large and small strains,there is significant differences in size. In the large strain of adult worm two-band, three-band and four-band in MDH were detected by PAGE.更多还原
