【Abstract】 In either case the first diet was given at hatching of the larvae, then the first method was to transfer the silkworm to a new diet at the beginning of 4th instar and the second method was to transfer the silkworms at the beginning of the 5th instar. Both of the scheduled feeding methods gave equivalent results on the growth of silkworms and no disease was found during rearing. The cocoon characters were similar to those under conventional rearing methods.It is likely that the new method is applicable to an industrial scale rearing of silkworms such as cocoon production or egg production for commercial use.更多还原
