关于泊松分布的高斯近似问题
On the Subject of Gauss Approximation of Poisson Distribution
【摘要】 如果油松分布的平均值很大,那么泊松分布可以转换成高斯分布,这时,它的均方差等于平均值。本文利用最小二乘多项式拟合方法计算了在不同平均(λ)下的泊松分布的均方差(σ~2),计算结果指出,λ>10,拟合区间△X<λ±2σ,高斯分布才能近似地代替泊松分布。
【Abstract】 If the average value of Poisson distribution is very large, the Poisson distribution can be transformed into the Gauss distribution, on this condition its mean square deviation (σ2) is equal to average value (A). This paper calculated the mean square deviation of Poisson distribution in the varied average value by use of linear least squares polynomial curve fitting method, thereby suggesting λ>10, fit range △x<λ± 2σ, the Gauss distribution may be substituted for Poisson distribution approximately.
