【Abstract】 A survey of any possible asso-ciation between HLA and endemiccretinism in an endemic goiter ar-ea in Guizhou province was carri-ed out.A total of 21 antigens ofHLA A and B loci were typed.Inthree families studied,there wasno haplotype sharing or lacking bypatients specially in each family.In population study,49 patients’HLA antigen frequencies were an-alyzed in comparison to those of57 healthy controls living in thesame locality.Increased frequenciesof HLA A10 and B12 in patientshad no statistical significance afteradjusting the number of antigentestedThe results of our presentsurvey gave no evidence to supportthe association existed betweenthe susceptibility and protection ofendemic cretinism and HLA.更多还原
