【Abstract】 The following robust estimators have been used to evaluate the rare earth element raw data of the Geochemical Reference Samples DZΣ-1 and DZΣ-2: Median, modian, Gastwirth mean, trimean and Hampel M-estimators. Most of the results obtained appeared to be in good agreement with the certified values, and it is difficult to draw conclusion which estimator is the best approach for finding the best value. However, the Hampel M-estimators are deserving of study and further applications. A computer programme written in BASIC for the computation of the Hampel M-estimators is given.更多还原
