硼酸铝钕激光晶体的脉冲输出特性

【摘要】 本文报道了我所生长的硼酸铝钕激光晶体的脉冲输出特性。用φ3×25mm的氙闪光灯泵浦时,φ3×18mm的NAB激光棒最大激光输出为每个脉冲1194mJ,总效率为1.51%,斜率效率为1.6%。对于φ1.8×2.4mm的激光棒,激光阈值为67mJ。激光输出为线性偏振光,波长1.063μm。用BDN染料片调Q时,φ1.83×8.4mm的NAB棒,激光单脉冲宽度为8ns,光束发散度为2毫弧度。

【Abstract】 This paper presents the pulsed output characteristics of NABlaser crystals grown in our institute. The maximum laser output of a NABrod of dimension φ 3mm×18mm was determined to be 1194mJ per pulse whenit was pumped with a xenon flashlamp of 43mm×25mm. The overall and slopeefficiencies are 1.51% and 1.6%, respectively. The laser threshold of aNAB crystal rod of dimension φ1.8mm×2.4mm was determined to be 67mJ.By using a BDN dye switch, the Q-switch laser band width of a NAB rod ofdimension φ1.8mm×8.4mm was measured to be 8 nsec. The output laser beamis linearly polarized and has a divergence angle of about 2 mrad and a wave-length of 1.063μm.
