【Abstract】 Brown spot needle blight of pines occurred in heavily diseased districts all the year round, most severely in September. The natural inoculation period has been determined by covering the healthy branches with polystyrene bags at interval of seven days. The fungus can invade the host the year around and the peaks of inoculation period appeared in the later of April and the early of September. The warm and moist conditions were favourable for the development of fungus but it would be retarded in the hottest months with an average temperature of 28℃.更多还原
