LARGE-DISPLACEMENT ANALYSIS OF THIN SHELLS OF REVOLUTION
【摘要】 <正> A new approach to the large-displacement analysis of thin shells of revolution is presented. Being different from the Karman-Donnell equations, the governing equations are based on the Green strain tensor description. A finite element method of the Hermitian interpolation in the meridian and the Spline interpolation in the circumference is used. The discrete nonlinear system of equaions is solved using the arc-increment method in the Ioad-configuration space·Rn+1. By the approach above mentioned, a program STAB is made, and some examples with new results are given.
