【Abstract】 A simple method is recommended to estimate the degradation of silk fibroin. This method is based on the reaction of the (α+ε) amino group of silk fibroin with ninhydrin. It gives good reproducibility and accuary without the need of complex apparatus. Some fibroin samples that had been damanged in alkaline solution are determined and show higher (α+ε) amino groups contents.更多还原
