【Abstract】 A strain of 615 mice was immunized with syngeneic L615 cells pretreated with Oleum Curcuma Aromatica （OCA） and β-elemene which is one of the effective components in OCA. Their immunoprophylactic effects were compared with other L615 cells modified by several kinds of physical,Chemical and biological methods, the results indicate that both OCA and β-elemene tumor cell vaccines （TCV） possess equally significant protective effects. Their effects have an abvantage over that of ⁶⁰Co irradiated TCV. Defferent degree of immune resistance to subsequent challenge can also be indcued by immunization with various kinds of TCV treated with chemical and biological methods, including mitomycin C, glutarldehyde and Cp-tumor cell mixture. The immune resistance induced by L615 vaccine is spesific for L615 and can be continuously enhanced by repeated challenge with L615 cells.The challenge with as high as 5×10² L615 cells can be toleratedl by the animal treated with above-mentioned substance.更多还原
