【Abstract】 The present paper reports Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in a large family on Xiachi island, Zhejiang. The family has 123 menbers over 7 generations, and 10 patients have been found among 3 generations. This is the largest family with the disease in our country. The analysis of the pedigree indicated that all the patients inherited their DMD genes from their mothers. This defective gene was supposed to come from a common ancestor.更多还原
