【Abstract】 This paper gives some paleomagnetic data from rock formations in the Xiayabu section and Xingtangwu section of Sinian System,W.Zhejiang,and the data from the alkaline rock bodies of Jurassic System in Tonglu,W.Zhejiang,and of Cretaceous System,E.Zhejiang. These data demonstrate that w.Zhejiang was at middle-lower latitude in Sinian Period.The paleolatitudes of the Leigongwu Formation and the Xiayabu Formation, which were formed during Mega-glaciation and Micro-glaciation respectively,are 15.7 and 17.The result supports the oppinion that the glaciers of all the continents in Late Precambrian located in middle-lower latitude zone. The comparison of the palaeomagnetic data of the Jurassic stratum,the cretaeeous stratum and the data of the times from various other places in the Eurasia show that the Zhejiang region,as a part of South China Plate,had joined the Eurasia plate with anticlockwise rotation. In addition,the comments on some paleomagnetic data of Permian System and Triassic System from the Zhejiang area and prospects for the research of this area are given in this paper.更多还原
