【Abstract】 Making a scientifie mcasurement and evaluation of the degeneration degree of pastures it may be regamded as the basis of the land resources utilization of the pasture. The light, middling and heavy degeneration of the pasture is equivalent to the three stages of the adverse succession of the grassland community climax (or su■cl■max) respectively.
