【Abstract】 In the light of field investigations, this paper discusses the Yongping earthquake (M = 5.5) which occurred Dec. 28, 1982, laying emphasis on the seismogeologic features of the area. The authors of this paper suggest that the Yongping earthquake is related with the active left-lateral Yinjiang fault. The crustal movement in Yongping area is characterized by the northward motions of the Yongping block. The model of crustal movement in Yongping area is also furnished in the paper.更多还原
