【Abstract】 The failure in resin restoration ofsplinted spilt-teeth is mainly due toimproper replacement of the split-teethas revealed by EM scan.The unsealedspace may serve as the port of entry ofbacteria.Leakage of the resin fluidthrough the crevices with the unwantedformation of innumerable microcavitiesin the root canal made periodontal tissuefurther vulnerable to bacterial invasion.Unreliable fixation of the split partsalso leads to the failure of resinizationof the split-teeth.更多还原
