THE EFFECTS OF INFRASOUND UPON THE GROWTH AND SURVIVAL OF LARVAE OF SINONOVACULA CONSTRICTA (LAMARCK)
【Abstract】 There are few public reports on the effects of treating the larvae of oceanic animals by infrasound. This paper describes the process and the results of the experiments on Sinonovacula Constricta. We find that this method makes the larvae getting high vitality, normal and uniform growth and a high survival rate. This method may be applied to many other larvae of oceanic animals. We will continue to report the progress of the experiment.
