【Abstract】 Factors capable to affect the state of liquid distribution in a trickle-bed reactor are discussed and the radial liquid distribution conditions at different bed depth are measured. Experimental results have been correlated to a mathematical model involving the two parameters—spreading factor s and wall factor f. Some criteria are presented here for predicting the operating conditions with uniform equilibrium distribution and the bed depth required to attain the equilibrium liquid distribution and which may be helpful in the design of the liquid distributors of trickle bed reactors on an industrial scale.更多还原
