【Abstract】 This paper describes0 a procedure for the separation of 57Co for Mossbauer source. The 57Co was obtained by 58Fe(d,n) 57Co reaction. The irradiated iron target is etched with 9N HCl until essentially all the activity is transfered into solution 15% H2O2 is added to oxidize iron to ferric state. The solution is evaporated nearly to dry ness. The resulting Fe(Ⅲ) is dissolved in 4N HC1. Iron is extracted with Tributyl phosphate. The hydrochloric solution again evaporated nearly to dryness then it is dissolved in 9N HCl and passed through a 717 ion exchanger column. 4N HCl solution is choosed as eluant for 57Co. The recovery of 57Co is over 95%.更多还原
