【Abstract】 It is a common technique for planting poplar in the state with big seedling, big planting hole, big space in the rows and columns. But planting depth varies with different site condition and district. Some planting depth is 0.7—0.8m; in some dry district planting depth is 1.5—2m. The result from the experiment in Mudanjiang forest area shows that suitable depth is 0.4—0.6m. The limit depth is no more than 0.6 m-Soil temperature below the limit depth is not suitable for the seedling to root. However suitable depth for planting seedling should be determined on the basis of climate and site condition.更多还原
