【Author】 ZHOU JINTAO, ZHENG BAOFEN(Department of Biophysics, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Shanghai First Medical College, Shanghai) Reverse transcriptase is an important tool enzyme in the genetic engineering-Reverse transcriptase of the mouse SRS virus was purified by affinity chromatography on poly G-DEAE cellulose column. The molecular weight of the enzyme is 70,000, only one band was found in the polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Judged by comparison with different template-primers the activity of enzyme was higher by using of PolyA-OligodT than by using of PolydA-OligodT.
