【Abstract】 A restrospective analysis of 25 cases of aplastic anemia in children treated with secretio bufonis injection from 1976 to 1984 is presented. Another 15 cases with aplastic anemia in children treated by corticosteroids and testosterone were used for comparison.During hospitalization, in the secretio bufonis treated group 3 cases (12%) were alleviated, 8 cases (32%) obvious improved, 11 cases (44%) improved, and 3 cases (12%) failed to respond, effective rate in total was 88%. While those treated with corticosteriod and testosterone, only 1 case revealed clinical and hemotologic improvement. The follow-up results in patients treated by bufonis injection shewed that 7 cases (28%) were completely relieved with no recurrence in 1-7 years, 6 cases (24%) obviously improved, 5 cases (20%) died, 4 cases out of contact. While those treated with hormone, only 1 case completely rele-ived, 2 cases were chronic an the rest died within 6 months.更多还原
