【Abstract】 In this paper we give a new definition of the length of arc and the area of a curved surface which has the following advantages: 1. The defect of the original definition of the length of are that makes it unable to be extended to the definition of area of a curved surface can be overcome by the new definition. 2. The new definition directly offers theoretic evidence for physical application.更多还原
