【Abstract】 To evaluate the clinical usefulness of impedance cartography (ICG) for assessing left ventricular function in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), ICG was performed in 112 normal adults and 90 CAD patients. Ten parameters, including QZ/ZA2, QZI, PEP/LVET, HI,CI, SI,A wave, C wave, O wave and X-O interval, were used for this study. The results of the normal group were essentially similar to those reported in the literature, the parameters measured in CAD patients were abnormal, and in comparison with those of the normal group, the differences were significant(P<0.01). QZ/ZA2 was a new parameter proposed in the present study. It correlated well with PEP/LVET and QZI (r=0.89,r=0.88), and also correlated well with EF and left ventricular wall motion index estimated by two dimentional echocardio-graphy (r= -0.65, r=0.77). It was easy to measure and with high accuracy.Isometric wave found in patients with myocardial infarction was considered to be due to asynergy of ventricular wall motion. The presence of alternated C wave and increase in A/C or O/C ratio may represent abnormality of cardiac functionWe conclude that ICG can be used for the assessment of left ventricular functionin CAD patients.更多还原
