【Abstract】 Key to the four sibling species of the larvae: Holotrichia1. Vertex, setae in fronto-epicranial series 3; front, anterior frontal setae present 21’. Vertex, setae in fronto-epicranial series 1, front, anterior frontal setae wanting 32. Anterior frontal setae 2 to 6, mostly 2 to 5, rarely 6. Proplegmatium of epipharynx with few plegmata, on the left, 7 to 9, usually 8; on the right 7 to 8 H. diomphalia Bates.2’.
