【摘要】 北京地区水稻白叶枯细菌噬菌体在胨蔗糖(PBS)平板培养基上其溶菌斑有两种类型:Ⅰ型为大斑型PK,直径范围约4毫米;Ⅱ型为小斑型(PSS)直径约1毫米。电子显微镜形态观察结果:两者均呈蝌蚪形,具六角形头部,但小斑型PSS 为收缩性短尾,大斑型PK 为非收缩性的长尾。Ⅰ型PK 头部大小为60×59nm,尾部为133×12nm;Ⅱ型PSS 头部为70×59nm,尾部短为95×16nm。研究比较了两种噬菌体抗血清,大斑型抗血清K 值为14,小班型K 值为300。通过溶斑大小、电镜形态和血清学交叉反应测定的结果,认为北京地区水稻白叶枯细菌的噬菌体有两种不同的类型。更多还原

【Abstract】 A number of bacteriophage was isoloted from rice fields in variouslocalities of Beijing.Morphological studies with electron microscoperevealed that two types of phage exist.Type A has a long noncontra-ctile tail and gives rise to a larger circle of plague on agar plate(4mmin diameter).Type B has a short contractile tail and gives rise to asmaller plague(1mm in diameter).The head of both types of phagewas polyhedral in form.The size of bacteriophage was noted as follows,head of Type A60×59 nm with a long tail 133×12 nm and head of type B 70×59 nmwith a short tail 95×16 nm.Serological identification with the antiserum of these two phages,such as neutralization test,assay of K value,and cross-relation testwas carried out.It was found that Type A and B were definitely dif-ferent types of bacteriophage in their serological reactions.更多还原
